Holy Week & The Easter Triduum. In Holy Week, the Church celebrates the mysteries of Salvation accomplished by Christ in the last days of his earthly life, from his Messianic entry into Jerusalem, until his blessed Passion and glorious Resurrection. The Church invites us all to come and follow the Lord in the powerful liturgies of Holy Week and the Easter Triduum, so that like the Apostles we too will be able to encounter and witness God's unconditional love for us in these mysteries as they unfurl. Let us pray, especially at the Great Easter Vigil, for our new brothers and sisters who will be received into the Church.

John Hughes, the parish archivist, had kindly given up his time to research and produce an informative display to mark this important date. Hidden Heroes. Over these last few weeks there have been many people who have quietly done a lot to help the parish and myself in preparing for Easter. From clearing paths, making Easter Chicks, selling tickets, organising events, mowing lawns, cleaning, volunteering their gifts and talents to help during the Easter Triduum and many other jobs and ministries besides - Thank You to Everyone.
