The Community Project are having 'A Bit of a Bigger Do' on Saturday 16th June 2018 at Lock Street  Tickets are £5.00 each which includes a potato pie supper. Tickets are on sale at the back of church. The next meeting is on Wednesday 7:15pm at Lock Street.

 

Wedding Preparation Course. The course comprises 4 sessions to be held in The Parish Centre at 7:30pm on Tuesday Evenings on 18th Sept. 2nd Oct, 16th Oct and the 30th Oct.

All couples need to make an appointment to see Father O'Brien prior to attending the course.

 

First Holy Communion Congratulations to all our boys and girls who are making their First Holy Communion this weekend. It is a wonderful new stage in their relationship with Our Lord and so we assure them of our prayers as a parish family.

 

Barton and Hallworth Funeral Services A note of thanks to the local undertakers, Paul & Sarah Barton, who kindly donated a hanging basket for the presbytery front door. Not only does it add colour but looks a lot more welcoming to visitors who call at the presbytery. Thank You.

 

Youth Loneliness Seminar. Youth Loneliness is a growing problem, and is quickly becoming a hot topic, recently making front page news in The Times.   St Michael and St Bernadette's Parish, have joined up with MMU and 42nd Street to explore this issue further, please encourage young people in your parish to attend, and apply via lonelinessconnects@gmail.com.
