St Mary's Lourdes Pilgrimage 2018: This year we are planning a parish pilgrimage to Lourdes.  We would like to determine how many people would like to go and their preferred dates. Our options are to go with the Diocese from 27th July - 2nd August or to go as an independent group in September.  If you would like to join us please place a tick indicating your preferred option on the form at the back of church.  This does not commit you to going, it is simply to help us plan.

The Church will be open each day from 8.30am to 5pm, (Thurs until after Exposition). Please call in and use the opportunity to pray and reflect.

April Monthly Newsletter is now available Please take home and read.

There will be Coffee/Tea served after Masses next weekend

Easter Sunday - Celebration of 100 years of the Royal Air Force Easter Sunday falls on the 1st April this year which is the Centenary of the Forming of the Royal Air Force. We are organising a celebration in the Parish Centre. Please bring along food for a "Jacob's Join" from 1pm. Entry FREE. Fr John will put on some pictorial displays. Any monies raised by raffles etc will go to the "Community Project Appeal". We hope it will be an afternoon to enjoy and bring people together!

Fr Sean O'Brien who will be taking over from Fr John will be here for the weekend of 28th/29th April. Fr O'Brien is very much looking forward to being your Parish Priest. I am sure that he is the right priest for the parish. It will be his first role as a Parish Priest so I know that you will look after him and guide him around the area and introduce him to the various local practices.

Easter Liturgies May I take this opportunity of thanking all those who have helped out in any way with the smooth running of the Easter Liturgies. A lot of work goes on in the background both in preparation and at the actual time of the Mass or service. So, thank you very much to everyone, you know who you are, for all the extra hours and also to those who came along and joined in.

Fr John will be away on holiday 13th – 20th April. Fr Anthony McLaughlin will cover at the weekend Masses.

Passover Meal Many thanks to all who came along to the Passover Meal last Wednesday, and also to all those who helped to set it up and clear away afterwards. Thanks also to the Parish Centre Committee for the use of the "Upper Room"

GDPR Some of you may be aware of this new legislation that is being introduced on the 25th May. Basically it is how we use information. As I have mentioned before, if we are to put someone's name on the sick list then we must have direct permission from them or the next of kin to do so. Please do not expect the name of a person who is sick to be automatically put on the sick list as there may be reasons why they may not want their name published. It is important we follow this guidance.
