GDPR Some of you may be aware of this new legislation that is being introduced on the 25th May. Basically it is how we use information. As I have mentioned before, if we are to put someone's name on the sick list then we must have direct permission from them or the next of kin to do so. Please do not expect the name of a person who is sick to be automatically put on the sick list as there may be reasons why they may not want their name published. It is important we follow this guidance.

Angel 35 CD - Fund Raiser

Saint Mary's Oswaldtwistle Community Group
Follow link for sampler and more detail.

Charity CD.

Angel 35, a new charity cd from our local Lancashire composer and performer Dylan Owen, a musician in the St Mary’s Folk/Acoustic Choir. He has even been known locally as The Bard of Oswaldtwistle, the chap who provides unique musical wit and charm.

There are 11 beautifully constructed pieces ranging from how Christ transforms lives through to hymns that provide relaxing opportunities for reflection, prayer and meditation.

All monies raised from the sale of the cds go to St Mary’s Community Sponsorship Project which is looking towards resettling a Syrian refugee family who have been displaced by war and suffering in the middle east.

The money will be channelled into a ‘setting up budget ‘ which will help smooth their transition from chaos to order and compassion.

We initially produced 100 CDs and at £10 each hope to make a grand, although with prayers and generosity…who knows!

Please let us know if you are interested in listening to the beautiful, thoughtful and inspiring ‘songs of praise.’ and we will send you a copy

For further information gladly contact Mgr. Fr John at St Mary’s RC Church Oswaldtwistle or Dylan on dylan.owen1icloud.com
