Farewell to Fr Anthony This weekend is the last weekend of Fr Anthony serving here in Oswaldtwistle. We thank him for all the Masses he has said and the joy he has brought to many. He has been in Sacred Heart, St Oswald's and Mount Carmel schools and been given a great reception there as he has said Masses and taken assemblies. We wish him every blessing in his work with the SMA Fathers and trust that he will keep us in our prayers. As he often says "I found the weather cold, but the people warm!" Thank you, Fr Anthony, and hope to see you again soon.

Meeting for those who would like to have involvement with Refugee Family Thanks to those who came along to the meeting held last Thursday evening. Mr Sean Ryan will visit the parish to speak at Masses over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd July so we can look at the possibility of welcoming a family to the parish and what is involved.

Eucharistic Ministers I would like to Commission and Re-Commission any Eucharistic Ministers on the Feast of the Ascension (27/28 May). Mega Youth Poll If you are aged between 13-29 The Catholic Church wants to hear what you have to say about your life and faith.
This Mega Youth Poll should take between 10 and 15 minutes to complete, depending on how much you want to tell us. We have kept the poll anonymous to give you the freedom to be frank and without fear of criticism.
This poll will be closed on Monday 5th June 2017 and the responses we receive will be used in a report that will be sent to the Vatican in preparation for a gathering led by Pope Francis.
