Thank You to all those who have helped out with the Liturgy throughout the year, and especially this past week. Altar Servers, Apparitors, Choirs, Cleaners, Eucharistic Ministers, Flower Arrangers, Readers, Sacristans and anyone who has worked in the background of preparation.


Divine Mercy Sunday – 23 April Next Sunday devotions are being organised by the Legion of Mary (Blackburn District) at St Joseph's, Audley Range. See Poster at back of Church for details.


Fr Anthony Sampson SMA will be staying here for a month from next Friday. Fr Anthony is a missionary priest from Ghana and will be working here in Oswaldtwistle to gain experience. I am sure you will all give him a great welcome as he has much to share with us. Fr John is at another parish next weekend so is sure you will look after Fr Anthony.


Eucharistic Ministers I would like to Commission and Re-Commission any Eucharistic Ministers on the Feast of the Ascension (27/28 May). If you would like to be (re)commissioned please speak with Fr John over the next few weeks. This is an important work within the parish. There will be a training Day and Holy Hour on Sunday 21st May from 2 - 4pm.


Seder Meal Many thanks to all who came along to the Seder Meal. Thanks to Navada Keenan & Steph Kelly and their team for excellent food, and to Eric Parr for looking after the bar. Great night.


The parish office will be open Tues, Weds and Fri this week from 10 – 1pm. Please try to keep to the office hours when making an enquiry to ensure a quick response.


Visits to Church The Church is now open during the day. Please make use of this and pay a visit to pray. Thanks to those who have locked up at the end of the day.


Parish Secretary Would you like to do some parish secretarial work to help Jean while Fr John is away so much? Experience necessary. Payment can be negotiated. Please speak to Jean in first instance.


Jubilee Celebrations – Golf Tournament As part of our celebrations there will be a Golf Tournament on Friday 7th July at Garstang Golf and Country Club. 1.30pm start. Cost £30 includes golf round, meal of soup and main course. Prizes to be won. £5 deposit required. Booking forms at the back of church. Open to anyone in the parish and friends of. We will conclude at the Parish Centre in the evening.


Broughton Catholic Charitable Society If anyone would like to become a member of the oldest Catholic Charitable Society in the country and attend the Annual Lunch on Tuesday 6th June at Garstang Golf & Country Club, then please speak with Fr John
