Mr Frank Meehan RiP It is with great sadness that I heard of the news of the death of Frank Meehan this week, aged 53. Frank, until about a year ago, was the head of RE at Mt Carmel and therefore taught many of our children. He was also a very good friend. He had visited the parish on occasions to meet parishioners and engage with us about the work of Mt Carmel and it's place in the community. He was a man of great prayer, humility and humour, as many of your children will have told you. He had a great personal way with the students, seeing the best in each and every one of them. He left Mt Carmel to take up a teaching post closer to home in Ormskirk. He leaves a wife and six children. I intend to have a Memorial Mass for him in about a month's time when many of the students Mr Meehan taught will be back from University.
