This Sunday is World Mission Sunday when there will be a second collection for the Missions.  This collection is a mandatory diocesan collection.

Mass of the Angels On Wednesday at 2pm there is a "Mass of the Angels". This is a Mass that is held for a child that may have just been baptised or died at very early age or still-born before the child was baptised though the parents wished him/her to be. This is always a very sad occasion when we can show our support for the parents at a very difficult time.

November Prayer List If you would like anyone who has died to be put on the November Prayer List then please put the names in an envelope marked "NPL" and place in the collection or post through the Presbytery door. Do not put money in the envelope. Last date for submission is this Wednesday 26th October.

Sacramental Program At Masses this weekend parents will be asked to formally present their children to Fr John for acceptance onto the course. By doing this parents are committing themselves and their children to regularly coming to church each week as the children prepare for the sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist. In turn, the parish commits itself to support the families as they prepare.

Charity Night We are looking to organise a Charity Night, in the Parish Centre, to coincide with "Children in Need" on Friday 18th November. If you feel you could help in the organisation of this event, then please speak with Fr John.

Mt Carmel Senior Citizens' Christmas Party Monday 12th December The list is now full.

The Annual "Service of Light" will be held next Sunday 30th October at 2pm at St Joseph's Church, Audley, Blackburn. This is a Service for all families of children who have died. Everyone is welcome.
