welcome.

donation. Crosses are also available.

Fr John away Fr John is away until Friday. We welcome Fr Sean O'Brien, Blackburn Hospital
Chaplain, who will say the Masses this weekend. We will take this opportunity to present him with
a cheque for the needs of the Chaplaincy, as a result of sale of the parish magazine a couple of
editions ago.

Parish Secretary The Office will be open this week Tuesday - Friday 10am - 1 pm

RCIA Group For those thinking of becoming a Catholic the next meeting will take place on
Thursday 6 November at 7.30pm in the Presbytery.

Bishop John Arnold's Mass of Installation as Bishop of Salford. Bishop John's Mass of
Installation will take place at Salford Cathedral on Monday 8th December at 11 am. We have been
offered 2 places for parishioners. If anyone would like to go please hand your name in by Tuesday
of this week and I will ask Jean to draw lots if more than two wish to attend. Replies to the invites
have to be returned by 1st November. The mass is followed by a reception.

Monthly Newsletter This will be distributed next weekend, any articles need to be in by Tuesday
evening. It is pretty obvious that many do not take the monthly newsletter home with them due the
many left in church. Many times people ask for information, when we tell them "It is all in the
newsletter", they respond "Oh, I don't read it!" That is no excuse!!! Please take the newsletter
home with you and read it. Ignorance is not an option!

Parish Magazine This is the time to get articles in. If you wish to put anything in the parish
magazine, which will be distributed early December, please speak with John Hughes. Articles must
be in by 7th November.
