Preparing for winter As winter approaches, and the weather deteriorates, we are looking at ways we can support our sick, housebound and elderly parishioners. If you can help in any of the following areas please add your name and contact details to the lists in church or in the Sacristy;
Eucharistic Ministers; Some parishioners will be unable to get to Mass due to the weather or short term illness, if you are able to take them Communion for a brief period please add your name to the list in the Sacristy.
Winter shoppers; If you are willing to collect some groceries for a parishioner whilst doing your own shopping would you add your name to the list at the back of church.
Check and Chat; Sometimes all that is needed is a phone call to make sure all is well, if you feel this is something you could do add your name to the list.
If you feel you need short term support over the winter please let us know, in the coming weeks we will publish contact details of those coordinating the support.
Quiz Night: Parish Centre – Wed night at 8pm Jackpot is at £20.
Back of Church Curtains have now been hung at the back of church to give the open space a dividing area from the main body. We request that if people wish to meet and chat that they do so there allowing people to pray undistracted in the main area. This is important especially after Mass when there is tea & coffee on offer. Also after Mass people could meet here and allow less distraction for those wanting to pray in church
